The Speaking Volumes series aims to amplify a more diverse range of creator voices in discussions surrounding the advanced technologies of volumetric image making.
In doing so, Speaking Volumes presents an important counter-narrative to corporate and technology-led discussions surrounding volumetric images, and offers a glimpse at what an inclusive and open creative community researching and creating using volumetric images might, and should, look like.
Our goal is to help build and sustain a dynamic, inclusive, and ethical community of practice by cultivating and celebrating an active creator network, inspiring and training new practitioners, and by empowering more creators to set the agenda for volumetric research and creation.
